Time really run out so fast don't yah think? It seems that it was just yesterday when American Idol held their audition and we were like placing our bets who among the 13 lucky finalist will win the Idol. Well, the Finale went very predictable. I knew it was Scotty and i guess most of you feel the smae way. The Finale Showdown between the two wasn't really exciting but i can say that Lauren did a great job despite of the fact that she had some issues with her vocal chords that night. Among the two winning songs, I really enjoy Scotty's I Love You This Big". It's like listening to an old style country over the radio.
Anyway, the Finale is really exciting and their guests will really make you sing "I Love American Idol this Big" LOL. Who would have thought Tom Jones will make an appearance on Idol huh? The two diva mentors also performed on Stage, promoting their new singles. Yup! I called Lady Gaga a Diva after her very amazing performance on Idol. Gosh! She showcased her vocal range on her song "The Edge of Glory" and i was like... "Wow, Lady Gaga can really sing". Beyonce on the other hand, sang 1 plus 1.
It is also nice to see the Top 13 performing again. Also the Jack Black- Casey tandem. That's really funny! Oh! Gladys Knight was also in the Finale, performed with Jacob Lusk. Also Tony Bennett as he performed with the dearest Haley Reinhart. Tim Mcgraw, Carrie Underwood, Lil John also performed in the Finale.
And of course, the main event , Scotty was hailed as the 10th American Idol Winner.

Commuting Again!

Yikes! I just can't believe it! I am commuting again after that horrible incident happened in my dad's car. Oh well, there's no one to be blamed here but me. I borrowed my dad's car last week and decided to hit Baguio to visit a friend of mine. I did it with permission of course but i failed to check its condition before driving that far. Traveling from Cavite to Baguio will take you 2 to 3 hours of driving since it is miles away from our place. It is my best friend's wedding and i really have to be there no matter what.
Well, I failed to check the engine before i decided to go so while i am in the middle of my driving, the car suddenly stopped and in my surprised, i saw the front engine smoking. I was like terrified that time since i didn't know what to do. I wish i could fix it myself but i don't have any knowledge about troubleshooting. And so i ended up leaving my dad's car and hire a taxi instead for the sake of my friend's wedding LOL.
And then, i decided to call for a technician to pick up my car and bring it to their shop. And for some reasons, the car is still on their shop, trying to repair the issue. Oh God! What have I done? Is it really that serious? I hope this shop is not taking advantage of me because i just can't see any reason why i have to wait this long. I guess if i bring it on a shop like that Auto Repair Beaverton in Oregon, I'm sure the issue with my car can be fixed in no time. I have heard so many good things about their company and I wish i could find the same thing here in my area. Anyway, i have no choice but to commute again while the car is still on the repair shop. Sobs!

My Dad's Recovery

It was way back 2001 when my dad suffered from mild stroke which made him disabled and unable to work. As a consequence of being the elder, i took his responsibility and became the breadwinner of our family. Being the breadwinner is kinda stressing, tiring yet, a very rewarding experience especially if I can see the fruits of all my labor.
My dad's brain got damage so bad after he collapsed in our bathroom which made his condition even worst. It took him almost a year after partially being recovered from that nightmare. Right now, he is undergoing series of therapies and medication towards his full recovery. Actually they have tried different alternative treatments already because most of his early medical therapies seem not working really effectively to him. After his stroke, half of his body is like paralyzed but thanks God, because of his continuous medication, he was able to move his left arm and feet a bit. It is such a big improvement already and we're happy to see that all our sacrifices worth it. I can see it in my dad that he's really sincere and determine to recover. I can feel it in him and I wish all the best in him towards his faster recovery.
Speaking of this alternative medicine, I have read about this so-called Chiropractic Therapy and I guess it is really perfect for my dad knowing that that therapy used to deal with spinal and mascular conditions. Who Will Make it Through the Finale?

Oh God, tonight, we will find out who among Scotty McCreery, Haley Reinhart and Lauren Alaina will make it to the much awaited Season Finale. Is this tonight elimination result will be another shocking day on Idol? Anyway, have you watched their performances last night? Who do you think is the best? Here's my verdict,

Honestly, i love all Scotty songs especially his rendition of Kenny Roger's She Believes in Me. However, it seems that Scotty can't do anything other than country. I am a big fan of this guy but if you keep him hearing the same tone of voice and the same style, i guess that's a little boring right? He should take a risk if ever he made it to the finale. He should prove that he can do something else.

I am not a Haley fan since the beginning of the season. Not until the latter part where Haley show her versatile she is. Oh and she's a professional one. I guess all of you are aware about what happened to her during her Zappelin performance right? She feel and stumble but she managed to deliver her song well. So i admit, from being a hater, i am starting to love Haley now and i want her to win. Seriously! Because of all the three remaining finalists, only Reinhart shows the versatility. She can really sing and she can sing anything!

As for Lauren, well she did well in some of her songs though most of it didn't show her poweful country vocals. I guess, she's too immature for this and is not ready to hit it big time. Anyway, i love her "I Hope you Dance" version.

My verdict? I can see Haley and Scotty on the finale. How about you?

American Idol Season 10 Top 3: Who's Your Bet?

We only have few weeks left before the much awaited Finale but before that, The remaining 3 idol contestants Haley Reinhart, Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery will go back to their hometown to celebrate their victory. For me, this season is way much better than the 4 previous ones. It is full of surprises and it is very undeniable that all the contestants are talented, makign the Season 10 Winner unpredictable.

Haley who was a former resident of the Bottom 3 proved herself that she really have what it takes to be the next American Idol. She was such a Dark horse and know one speculated that she can make it up to the top 3 in the beginning. But look how huge her fan base is now.

Scotty is the only guy left from the competition. After eliminating girls consecutively, it seems that the audience became aware how important it is to vote for their idols despite of delivering a nice performance.

Lauren Alaina is one of the strongest contender in the show, she might be the next Carrie Underwood if ever she won this competition.

I guess being a celebrity is probably one of the biggest dreams that most of us would like to achieve right? I'm sure you have dreamed about it at one point or another. Missing My Lola

I remember when my late Lola was rushed in the Hospital a year ago, we are all horrified because we do not know what to do! We are all in shocked. I know that my Grandma was not getting any younger but i am not expecting that her condition will become worst. I was really disappointed to myself for not spending my time with her. She was calling me over the phone almost every week asking me to visit her and to drop by to her house to see her but i was too busy that time and my schedule won't allow me. I wish i could turn back those time and correct all my mistakes but then it's too late for me to regret it.
My Grandma was diagnosed to have Liver Cancer and that made her so weak and her condition became worst every day. Not to mention her Glaucoma that made her almost blind. Goodbye Jacob

Jacob Lusk is out! Finally, Jacob was eliminated last week after giving all his best. The remaining top 5 sang 2 different songs. One old and one current. Jacob sang "No Air" by Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown which went a little bit over-the-top for me and he also sang "Love Hurts" which sounded like a man singing on a Karaoke bar. I just hate the screaming part and for me, he should learn how to control his emotions while singing. It was like he was about to cry every time he sings and that was so annoying.

Well, i like his gospel songs and i love his rendition of "A House is not a Home" and "Dancing with my father". This Male-Diva should be very proud for reaching the Top Five spot which prove himself that he is a great singer and he has a huge fan base too.
I am so excited about the remaining Top 4. I am not so sure about the theme next week but i have heard some rumors that Lady Gaga will mentor the Idol. Well, that is not a good thing!!! Lady Gaga???? Come on? She can't even sing well.... damn it.

What to do this Summer?

It's summer and i know most of you are already planning to hit the beach right?
